Carol Sue Brown

Carol Sue Perry Jenkins Brown, 78, of Freeman, WV, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital. 

Born on January 14, 1946 in Switchback, she was a daughter of the late Quincy and Suzanne Taylor Perry. She was a retired school monitor. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roger Jenkins; son, Willie Brown; brothers, Frank, George, Roy, Coy, and Billy; and sisters, Francis, Pearl, Lettie, Pat, and Cienne.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Brown of the home; sons, Albert Brown and companion (Tina) of Bramwell; Jody (Jamie) Jenkins of Bluefield; daughter, Robin (Mark) Dishner of Burlington, NC, 8 grandchildren ( Lindsey, Lexie, Tyler , Elena , Sophie, Jordan ,Rachel & Hannah) and several great grandchildren; brothers, Paul Perry of Nemours, Everett (Sylvia) Perry of Brushfork, and James Perry of Abingdon, VA; and sister, Doneva Frost.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Kenny Bogart officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. 

Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
