Mrs. Carol Dean (Williams) Burchett of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at her residence in Clinton County, Kentucky, having attained the age of 71 years, 9 months and 6 days. She was born in Clinton County, Kentucky, on Wednesday, January 20, 1954, the daughter of Gordon & Lila (Lewis) Williams. She was well known in the community and was of the Christian faith. She was employed for many years at City Mart in Albany, Kentucky, and with the Clinton County Board of Education as a cook. She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and spending time at yard sales. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Hardin, Wendell Burchett, son, Bill Hardin, siblings, Dale Williams, Austin Williams, Nancy Stockton and nephew, Jeremy Melton.
She is survived by her children, Donavon Burchett, Laura Burchett, Jessica (& Jason) Milburn, Cody (& Lacey) Stone, Jake (& Tiffany) Burchett, Brandon (& Mariah) Burchett, all of Albany, Kentucky, sister, Shirley Melton, grandchildren, Zora Grace Stone, Bravery Liam Burchett, Lilo MaeDean Burchett, Miah Page Feaster, Gracie Renee Feaster, Adalyn Amzie Milburn, Logan Howard Loy Milburn, Jason Alexander Milburn, Levi Keith Brown, Olivia Mae Jennings, Trevor William Burchett, Nova Ellen Jo Burchett, along with many foster children, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. CST in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Davis officiating. Burial was in the Lands Chapel Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Jason Milburn, Jason Melton, Cody Stone, Brandon Burchett, Jake Burchett, and Davey Tinsman. In lieu of flowers contributions appreciated to the Carol Burchett memorial fund c/o Campbell-New Funeral Home.
Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
