Carol Jane Davis Caulder, age 57, of Hallsboro, NC passed away after a very brief illness, on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville, NC. Carol was born in Richland County, SC to Edmond Davis and Betty Enzor Davis on June 25, 1968. She is preceded in death by a sister; Donna Hunter and a brother; Gary Wayne Todd.

Carol worked for over 10 years as a cook and cashier at Marshal's Friendly Stop in Fairmont. Everyone that stopped in to eat there knew what a good cook she was.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents; Edmond Davis and Betty Enzor Davis of Irmo, SC, her husband (9/5/2025 – 21 years); Craig Caulder of Hallsboro, NC, daughters; Amber Michelle Simmons (Harold) of Dillon, SC and Samantha Owens (Kody Clark) of Batesburg, SC, sons; Michael Ray Owens, Jr. (Codi) of Abbeville, SC and Adam Wesley Caulder (Delanie) of Marion, KY, sister; Tonya Chapman (Troy) of Irmo, SC, and grandchildren; Caylee Hawthorne, Hunter Owens, Johnathon Owens, Skyler Puckett, Lukas Caulder, and Hudson Ridge Caulder.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 2:30 pm at Oakdale Baptist Church, 1267 Oakdale Church Road, Fairmont, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:30 pm prior to the service.
