Deborah Caulder Obituary

Deborah was a loving wife and mother who dedicated her life to her family, a role she cherished above all. Deborah was known for her love of God, beach music, and making family memories at her favorite place, White Lake, NC.
She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Truby Smith.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Ronald Caulder of the home; son, Ronald Caulder, II (Wendy) of Rockingham; daughter, Robyn Pevey (Thomas) of Rockingham; mother, Peggy Lee Smith of Hamlet; sisters, Vickie Goodwin (Johnny) of Hamlet and Lisa Gainey (Tug) of Hamlet; special sister-in-law, Helen Hooks; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Joy Freewill Baptist Church in Rockingham.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 2:00 pm, with Pastor June Grant and Reverend David Lee officiating.
Interment will be at Richmond County Memorial Park in Rockingham.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice at 1119 N. US Hwy 1, Rockingham, NC 28379.

We were so saddened to hear about Deborah's passing. Ronnie, Lil Ronnie, and Robyn, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and we will continue praying fervently for all of you in the days ahead.
