Carol Champion Obituary

Carol Ann (Doernemann) Champion, 71, of Manor Borough, formerly of Wilkins Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 5, 2025. Carol was born on Dec. 10, 1953, in Braddock, to Walter and Sarah (Brunner) Doernemann. She was a 1971 graduate of Churchill High School and became a web designer for Moriel International Ministry. Until her illness, she was very involved at Pitcairn Assembly of God. In her spare time, Carol was a wonderful mosaic artist who also loved to cook. She loved her family more than anything. Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Aaron A. Champion Jr.; sons, Nathan Champion, Jesse (Shannon) Champion, and Cody Champion; granddaughters, Karsyn Champion and Reegan Champion; brother, David (Sandra) Doernemann; sister, Theresa Aguilar; and niece and nephews, Regina and David Nock, and Marco Aguilar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Nock. Private arrangements entrusted to LINDSAY-JOBE FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City (724-744-2721).
