Carol J. Clark, 97, Forestville, passed away, Saturday, July 26, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital. she was born July 11, 1928, in the Town of Ahnapee to Fredrick and Viola (Gaulke) Haucke.
Carol graduated from the Algoma High School in 1946.
She married Edward Clark, October 16, 1948, and he preceded her in death on February 17, 1997.
Carol worked as a bookkeeper at Katch's in Algoma and for the Farrell Lumber Co. for over 20 years, then she worked part time at Walmart for about five years, retired in 1996.
Carol enjoyed playing sheepshead and attending to her flowers.
She is survived by her son, Dale Clark, two grandchildren Jessica (James) Montalvo, Kentucky and Jamey Clark, Sturgeon Bay; seven great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Edward, parents, son Dennis and two sisters Florence Simonar and Janet Vania.
Family and friends will gather at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Forestville, Friday, August 1, 2025, from 12:00 PM until the time of services at 2 PM with Rev. Dr. Christopher Jackson. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
