Carol Crow Obituary
1968-2024
Carol Christine "Christy" Crow passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her fiancé, David Session, and her daughter, Ashley Bridges.
Born on June 28, 1968, in Gulfport, Mississippi, Christy was the daughter of Paul and Beverly Crow. The family moved to Texas shortly after her birth, and Christy spent most of her life in Azle, Texas, where she attended local schools. Known affectionately as "CrowBaby" by her friends, Christy was celebrated for her contagious laugh, wit, humor, and adventurous spirit. Her passion for computers led her to a career in data entry.
Christy met David in 2015, and they relocated to Dallas with the dream of starting a data entry business. Though they realized this dream in 2023, Christy fell ill shortly after. She and David were together for nine years as friends and roommates, and in August, David proposed. Although Christy accepted, she passed away before they could marry.
Christy is preceded in death by her father, Paul Crow; her grandparents V.M. and Josette Crow, Polly and Bill Mahon, and her grandfather Tom Baker.
She is survived by her daughter, Ashlee Bridges, and her companion, Cody Loughry; granddaughter, Kindall; her mother, Beverly Griffith, and her husband, Steve; her brother, John, and his wife, Michelle; her stepmother, Jennifer Crow; her fiancé, David Session, and his three children and two grandchildren, whom Christy cherished as "BG" (Bonus Granny). She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and many friends who loved her dearly.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to David for his care and devotion during Christy's final months, and to Vitas Hospice for their compassionate support.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Azleland Chapel, located at 850 N. Cardinal Rd., Azle, Texas, 76020

Christy, You are going to be missed terribly. I'll never forget all the fun times we had. You where always the life of the party. Don't worry about Ashlee. She has such a huge support group. I love you so very much.
