Carol Daversa Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Allen Funeral Home - Davison on Apr. 8, 2025.
DAVERSA, Carol A. (Judd) – of Davison, MI, age 76, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, at McLaren - Lapeer. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held this summer.
Carol was born on September 23, 1948, in Lapeer, Michigan, the beloved daughter of Duane and Marjorie (Smith) Judd. On August 15, 1992, she married John Daversa, in Lake Orion, Michigan. They shared many beautiful years together until his passing on January 21, 2021. Family was the center of Carol's world-she would have moved heaven and earth for those she loved. She had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found joy in camping, fishing, and never passed up the chance for a pontoon ride. Carol had a green thumb and took great pride in her garden and yard, always making sure everything looked just right. An artist at heart, Carol created beautiful stained-glass pieces and enjoyed crafting and decorating, not just her own home but those of her family as well. She had a special talent for making any space feel warm and welcoming. Some of her most cherished moments were spent vacationing with her beloved sisters, Deb and Ada, making memories that would last a lifetime.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Stacy (the late Stanley) Benmark; step-son, Lawrence Daversa; grandchildren: Tiffany (Rick) Cantu, Michael (Miranda) Flood, Spencer Benmark, and McKenzie Flood; step-grandchildren: Ariel Daversa, Dominic Daversa, Michael Daversa, Athena Daversa, Nicholas Daversa, and Penelope Daversa; great grandchildren: Giovanna Flood and Jesse Flood; siblings: Duane (Heather) Judd, Jr., Dwight Judd, Randy Judd, and Debbie (Craig) Atwood; special friend, Lynne Sholtz; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by both parents; husband John Daversa; son, Kelly Flood, Jr.; step-son, Anthony Daversa; siblings: Ada Mayotte and Rodney Judd.
