Carol Marie Davis

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of Carol (Boisse) Davis, 78, on April 4, 2025. She was born to the late Authur and Albina (Shaw) Boisse in Moosup, Connecticut on February 10, 1947.
Carol was a graduate of Plainfield High School in 1965 and worked at Pervel Industries until it closed in 1987. She then worked as an administrative assistant for the Plainfield School System from December 1988 to January 2023. and made great friendships over the years.
Carol was quiet, unassuming and loved to laugh. She was loyal, kind and compassionate. Her family and friends brought her such joy!
Carol appreciated the simple pleasures in life, such as playing bingo, going out to lunch at Hank's, gift giving and visiting with family and friends! She also had a love of animals; Carol absolutely loved her cat "Baby" and enjoyed spoiling her. She loved to watch and feed the birds, especially the "hummers", as she called them.
Carol is survived by her husband, Roger Davis; and brothers Robert Boisse and Ronald Boisse. She was predeceased by her brothers, Arthur Boisse Jr. and David Boisse. She will also be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews including Aaron, Edith, Elise, David, Tina, and Mary, and many great nieces and nephews.
Calling hour will be held Monday, April 21, 2025 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Doughtery Brothers Funeral Home, 595 Norwich Rd, Plainfield, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am in All Hallows Church, 126 Prospect St, Moosup, CT. Burial will take place in All Hallows Cemetery.
