Joann Post Obituary
Joann or "Jody" as she was also known, was born on July 5th, 1954 in Groton, CT to the late Joseph and Annabell (Lincoln) Dumphy. While attending highschool she met the love of her life, Lawrence Post, who she would later marry. On January 29th, 1977 the two were united and remained a loving couple throughout. Together they had four children, Nicholas, Vanetta, Ian and Patrick, all of which survive her.
Some would have labeled her "blind" as she was since birth but Jody was so much more than her disability. She was a loving wife, mother and friend. She had a beautiful voice, wrote her own music and played guitar. She gave her life to the Lord and was a congregant of Faithway Community Church in Danielson until her passing.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and time.
