Pauline Main Obituary
Pauline was born in Norwich on May 16th, 1930 to the late Floyd and Edna (MacLennan) Main. Once she completed high school she attended and graduated from the Backus Hospital School of Nursing. Thereafter she worked as a Registered Nurse at the former Norwich State Hospital in Preston, CT until retiring in 1990. Later she would work as a School Nurse at Shepherd Hill School. She was also a member of the Woman's Auxiliary for the Moosup Volunteer Fire Department.
She is survived by one sister, Carol Balkus and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Pauline was also predeceased by two sisters, Glenney Jackson and Margaret Despathy.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, Pauline asked that memorial donations in her name be made to the Moosup Fire Department, 37 S. Main St., Moosup, CT 06354.
