Carol Ann Dehner

Tulsa, OK – Carol Ann (Bickmore) Dehner, age 84, of Claremore, OK, passed away on February 21, 2026. Carol was a native of East Alton, Illinois and moved to Tallahassee in 1979. Many friends know her from her days at Florida State Bank, Sun Bank, and SunTrust where she managed several branches around Tallahassee from 1980 through 2003. She spent over 50 years working in the banking industry and loved helping her customers.

For many years, after retiring from banking, she served as the treasurer/bookkeeper at Tallahassee Heights UMC where she was an active member, having joined the church in 1980. She was known for always having a helping hand and a ready smile. In 2018, she moved to Claremore, OK to live with her daughter and her family, as her beloved husband, of almost 52 years, Bob Dehner, went home to be with the Lord.

Carol was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Bratten; brothers: Glenn Bickmore and Richard Bickmore; and sister-in-law, Brenda Bickmore. Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Dehner and her family (Patrick Manning and Austin Manning), of Claremore, OK; a brother, George Bickmore (Barbara); brother-in-law, Charles Bratten (Peggy), of Wood River, IL; sisters-in-law: Rose Bickmore (Glenn) and Janet Cox, of St. Peters, MO; and a multitude of nieces, nephews and their families.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 ~ 11:00 am on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Tallahassee Heights Methodist Church with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 am. Burial will be at the National Cemetery in Tallahassee.
