In Loving Memory
Carol Jean Frost
July 29, 1954 - January 26, 2025
BREWERTON, NY - Carol Jean Frost, 70, of Brewerton, NY; passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 26, 2025 at St Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Syracuse to the late Edmund and Dorothy (Potter) Kieszkowski and graduated from Solvay High School and Onondaga Community College.
Carol retired from the Boy Scouts of America where she was the Manager for the Scout Shop, after a long career in retail with especially fond memories of her time at Chappell's. In her time with Scouting, she was particularly proud of the involvement she had in the Eagle Scout program.
She was a lifelong lover of history and a true Patriot. A member of the Brigade of the American Revolution living history organization, Carol spent many years both professionally and as a volunteer in the historic community where many of her and Jack's lifelong and enduring friendships were made. She loved the Brewerton community and Oneida Lake, of which she was a resident since 1974 when father-in-law Clarence, husband Jack and she build their home on Orangeport Rd. In recent years, Carol was a tireless advocate and caregiver for her husband Jack along with their son Thomas. Carol was, above all else, a loving Wife, Mother and Friend. Her cheery demeanor, sharp sense of humor, intelligence and voice of reason touched everyone she knew.
Carol is survived by her husband Jack Barton Frost and son Thomas Edmund Frost, both of Brewerton; sisters MaryAnne (Shawn) Langdon, Dorothy Knittel and brother Edmund (Karen) Kieszkowski; nieces Erin Bortel and Katie Knittel as well as two Aunts, Kathy Riker and Annalissa Kieskowski and several beloved cousins. She is predeceased by father-in-law Clarence "Jack" Frost, brother-in-law Robert Knittel and nephew Christopher Potanas.
A Graveside Service to celebrate Carol's Life will be held at at time to be announced in Riverside Cemetery, Brewerton, NY. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Inc. 9525 S. Main Street, Brewerton, NY.
