In Loving Memory of Carol Gruverman Carol (Persky) Gruverman lived her life with a vibrant spirit, a quick wit, and a heart that never stopped giving. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she grew up with a love for family and laughter that followed her through Midwood High School, Farleigh Dickinson University, Pratt Institute and eventually moved down to Florida where she made a beautiful life raising her family in Hollywood and then later moved to Boynton Beach. Carol had a gift for balance, elegance with a feisty edge, propriety with a punchline, and plenty of love sprinkled on top. She proudly worked as a dental hygienist for over 45 years making sure smiles were not only brighter, but that patients left with a little extra cheer too. Outside of work, Carol's creativity knew no bounds. She was a talented artist, a masterful bow-maker, and a legendary party planner whose gatherings were filled with laughter, beauty, and just the right amount of chocolate. Above everything, Carol's greatest joy was her family. She adored her late husband, Al, with whom she shared a long and loving marriage, and in later years she was blessed to find laughter, love, and companionship with her dear partner, Sheldon Weisser, for 20 wonderful years. She leaves behind her loving children, Michele (Tommy) and Howard (Shawn); and her four treasured grandchildren, David (Helena), Rachel, Olivia, and Grace each of whom was her pride, joy, and favorite subject of bragging rights. Carol's legacy is love, laughter, and living life with courage and flair. She will be remembered in every celebration she inspired, every bow tied just so, every story told around a table, and every sweet bite of chocolate. Her message was simple and timeless: love deeply, live fully, and eat a lot of chocolate. Chapel Service Tuesday August 19, 2025 @ 1:00pm at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel 11115 Jog Road Boynton Beach Florida.
