Carol's legacy lives on through her beloved children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Stacey (Jason) Truitt, Kelly Battle, and Frederick (Sophia) B. Hackett, and her adored grandchildren: Taylor Battle, Emily Truitt, Andrew Truitt, Lily Woods-Hackett, and Ivy Woods-Hackett; 4 siblings, Cheryl Treacy, Catherine Beasley, Connie Leversee, and William Swindells III. They will forever remember her infectious laughter, her unwavering support, and the unconditional love she bestowed upon them. Private services will be held to honor Carol's life. During this difficult time, the family kindly invites you to share your fondest condolences and memories, which are deeply appreciated as they navigate this profound loss.
Carol Jean Hackett will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, heartfelt kindness, and the colorful imprint she left on this world. May her soul find peace, and may her family find comfort in the beautiful memories she created and shared with them.
