On July 23, 2025, Carol Campbell Halstead entered her Heavenly home, surrounded by the love of her family and the peace of her faith. Born on Christmas Day, 1930, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Carol was the cherished daughter of Vaughan and Estella Campbell. She was raised in Oklahoma City and graduated from Central High School.

In 1948, Carol married the love of her life, Kenneth Halstead, who later gave his heart to the Lord before his passing in 2002. Together, they built a comfortable life, raising three children: Kathryn Dove of Sedalia, Missouri; Kenneth Halstead Jr. of Oklahoma City; and Sandra White of Oklahoma City (deceased). Carol's legacy continues through her five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Carol and Kenneth shared a passion for family adventures-especially camping trips, boating, and water skiing. She retired from AT&T in 1991 after many years of dedicated service. Her greatest joy, however, was caring for her family and making their home a place of love and laughter. She also had a special bond with her beloved dog, Skeeter.

In 2006, Carol was blessed to find love again when she married Henry Schufletowski. Their 19 years together were filled with road trips, cruises, dancing, and countless dinners at their favorite restaurant, Pickles. Henry brought joy and companionship to Carol's golden years, and for that, her family is forever grateful.

She loved the Lord deeply and was honored to visit the Holy Land with her church family-a journey that left a lasting imprint on her spirit.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Vaughan and Estella Campbell; her siblings, Victor, Loretta, and Maxine; her husband Kenneth; her daughter Sandy; and her great-granddaughter Stephanie.

Carol lived a life of love, faith, and grace. Her warmth, strength, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services are 10:00am, Monday, July 28, 2025 in the Chapel at Resthaven.
