Carol N. Haney, 67, of Lakewood passed away Monday (October 6, 2025) in UPMC Chautauqua after a long brave fight with cancer. She was born December 14, 1957 in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of the Martin and Betty Smith. Carol owned Sculptures by Carol for many years, and was employed by US Express. During her retirement she owned Lost Woods Bee's. Carol was a member of the Georgia Bee Keepers Association, Chautauqua County Bee Keepers Association. She had a strong Christian faith and was a faithful follower of Joyce Myers Ministries. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and tending to her bees. Surviving is her son Robert Sargent of Lakewood; her daughter Camden Jackson of Lakewood; eight grandchildren: Maddie McIntyre, Tyler McIntyre, Brody Sargent, Corbin Sargent, Colton Sargent, Maverick Sargent, Gary Jackson, Conner Jackson; two brothers: Marty Smith, Bryon Smith; four sisters: Patricia Smith, Jo Jeriorski and Lorena Ostrom, Trudy Gordon. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Judy Lynn Sargent. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be donated to a charity of one's choice.
