James A. Hartson, 64, of Jamestown, NY, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at UPMC.
Born on January 24, 1961, in Jamestown, he was the son of Autumn and Thomas Hartson. He is survived by his mother, Autumn; three daughters, Carissa, Alicia, and Haley Hartson; and two brothers, Terry and Randy Hartson. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas, and two brothers, Charles and Thomas A.
Jim was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was resilient, selfless, and loved to make people laugh. He was proud to be a father and loved spending time with his family and friends. Jim found joy in the simple things and advocated being grateful for everything you have. He enjoyed making maple syrup, fishing, being out in nature, cooking, and collecting antiques. He liked watching sports and was a dedicated Buffalo Bill's fan.
As per his wishes, there will be no memorial or funeral service. Those who wish to honor his memory may do so by making a donation to a charity of their choice.
