Carol Jeanette Hoff

Carol Jeanette Hoff, 93, of Niles, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, at her home with her loved ones surrounding her.
Carol was born on October 11, 1929 in the small town of Swanton, Ohio, to the late Guy and Loa (Halderman) Warren, during the peak of the Great Depression. She had one sister and one brother, Murel and Howard.
Growing up during the Great Depression, Carol had learned many skills that would serve her through her life. Carol was a simple person that didn't need much to make her happy, and appreciated the little things. Carol graduated from Swanton High School in 1948. On December 29, 1949, she married Roger L. Hoff at a ceremony in Elkhart, Indiana. Carol retired from Miles Laboratories after giving over thirty years of dedicated service. She enjoyed collecting jewelry, and remaining in contact with long time friends, such as Floyd Bonner and mostly spending time with her family.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Murel Toregson and Howard Warren.
She is survived by her two children, Kenneth (Vickie) Hoff of White Pigeon, Bruce Hoff of Goshen; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Carol's family is thankful for the love and care shown to her in her final days by James Hoff and Lauryn Snodgrass.
In keeping with Carol's wishes, her family will gather privately to celebrate her life.
