My Aunt, By Kim Jackson

You were a light so bright,

A gentle soul with love so pure,

Your kindness touched us every day,

A bond that time could not obscure.

With every laugh and every tear,

You shared your warmth, your wisdom, too,

Now in our hearts, you’ll always stay,

As we remember all you knew.

Though you have left this world behind,

Your spirit’s with us, near and far,

In every memory, we’ll find

The love you gave, a guiding star.

Rest now, dear aunt, in peace and grace,

Your love will never fade away,

In our hearts, you’ve found your place,

And there you’ll live, each passing day.
