Carol (Janchuk) Walsh Obituary
Carol earned her Bachelor's degree in Education in 1967 from Fitchburg State University, in Fitchburg, MA. Following her graduation, she taught 4th Grade in Leominster, MA. Carol and Terrence moved to Troy, New York in 1971 where they chose to start their family. There, Carol taught 3rd grade in Wynantskill, NY. With many moves to CT, MA & GA, Carol and Terrence continued to raise their family while being active in their communities. Carol touched many lives continuing her career in education teaching 4th grade in Maynard, MA and teaching 5th grade in Jonesboro, GA until 2007, when Carol and Terrence retired to Port Charlotte Florida in the Riverwood Community.
Carol was an avid enthusiast of the arts and spent much time with her friends quilting, water color painting, and expanding her love of reading while always remaining present in the lives of her children, granddaughters, and friends. Carol's enthusiasm for life and her quick wit were contagious. Her sudden passing will leave a void in the lives of her family as well as her friends. In the quiet moments, amidst the gentle sounds of leaves or waves, we shall carry Carol's memory with us, a light illuminating the path ahead. May she rest peacefully in the embrace of eternity.
In lieu of flowers, tributes to honor her memory may be made in her name to the Virginia B. Andes Community Clinic, 21297 Olean Blvd. Port Charlotte FL, 33952 or (941) 368-8863. A celebration of life for Carol will be held in February 2026 at the Riverwood Community Center in Port Charlotte FL.

Terry, Jennifer and Jonathan and family, I am so sorry to hear of your mom's sudden passing. She was a beautiful, kind and caring woman. I have so many wonderful memories of all the times we spent together as children gathering at the Littleton house or ours in Leominster. Sending you all lots of love, hugs and prayers for strength through this difficult time. Xoxo
