Carol Ann Jones

Carol Ann Jones, 79, of Indiana, passed away on March 27, 2026, in Florida. She was born on June 9, 1946, in Thelma, Kentucky, the daughter of Estill and Imogene Smith. Carol was a devoted homemaker and a loving caregiver to her family. She was a woman of Christian faith who found great joy in spending time with her loved ones. She especially enjoyed family gatherings and playing Bingo, which brought her much happiness over the years. She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the love she shared with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Norvel L. Jones. She is survived by her two daughters; Regina Jones and Davina Jones; son, Novel Dean (Jane) Jones; along with six grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

There will be a visitation held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 1-3pm at Collins Funeral Home, 465 W. McClain Ave, Scottsburg, Indiana 47130. Burial will be at Bowery Cemetery in Memphis, Indiana.
