Carol was born May 23, 1938 in Madison to Raymond and Clara (Jacobson) Hauser. She grew up in Madison and graduated from Madison West High School, class of 1956.

She then became a dietary aid at Taylor County Memorial Hospital and finally was the activities planner for the Medford nursing home, retiring in 2003.
She enjoyed reading, sewing, rosemaling, cross-stitch, ceramics, and the occasional road trip to the casino.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jim Kasparek of Medford; four children, Joe (Lynette) Kasparek of Superior, Jeff (Robin) Kasparek of Beaver Dam, Jonathan (Jody) Kasparek of Waukesha, Jennifer Kasparek of Rhinelander; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
