Elizabeth Carol Kile, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. She was born on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1941 to the late Carl and Esther Irene McCollum Shaw. Carol had worked for Standard Coosa and was a member at Bethlehem Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, playing Candy Crush and loved to sew.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Buford Kile.
Survivors include her daughers, Denia Kile and Karla (Jeremy) Pritchett; son, Lesleigh Kile; her siblings, Jean Langford, Johnny Shaw, Jimmy Shaw, David Shaw and Vickie Dinges; grandchildren, Colton and Corissa Pritchett; along with several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 8th at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Pastor Wilton Grimes officiating.
The family will receive friends 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM Tuesday, July 8th at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
