Carol A. Klein

Carol A. Klein, nee Pollex, age 92. Beloved wife of the late Roger Klein; loving mother of Steve (Marjorie) Klein, Gwen (Robert) Skanse, Mark (Donna Marie) Klein, and the late Bruce (Caron) Klein; dear daughter of the late Etta and the late Herold; devoted grandmother of Kevin (Selene), Nicholas, Caitlyn, Timothee (Jessica), Chandler, Steven, and Beth Ann; great-grandmother of Holden, Roewan, and Sebastian; fond sister of the late Earlamae (Tony) Corirossi, the late Phyllis (Don) Judge, and the late Donald (June) Pollex; aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Carol and Roger met and married after Roger immigrated from Alsace, France. Carol and Roger lived in Chicago, Glen Ellyn, and Lisle. They established their family business Roger's Custom Textiles & Trims. They were respected for their guidance and advice in the creation of design elements which are found in public and private spaces of cultural and historical significance.

Carol was a devoted caregiver for her mother, aunt, and husband.

Visitation Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 4 PM- 8 PM at Knollcrest Funeral Home 1500 S. Meyers Road Lombard, Illinois. In State Friday, February 20, 2026, beginning at 9:30 AM until time of funeral at 11 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church - Lombard, 1165 S Westmore - Meyers Rd. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
