Carol Mazza Obituary
Visitation for Carol A. Mazza, 72, formerly of Elmwood Park, will be held from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Family and Friends will meet directly at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela Street, Barrington, on Monday, September 8, 2025, where visitation will continue from 9:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. The Interment will be private.
Carol was born on October 15, 1952, to Ralph and Eleanor “Bobbie” Bonviso. She passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
Carol found joy in simple pleasures; she was an avid bowler, took delight in gardening, especially planting flowers, and was a wonderful cook and a hairstylist. Her most famous client was Bob Zajdel, the Victory Auto Wrecker’s guy, which the commercial he was in was a Chicagoland legacy for over 40 years.
Carol was the beloved mother of Francis Patrick (Victoria) Mazza; loving grandmother of Vincenzo and Paloma Mazza; cherished sister of Marie (Frank) Clow, June Bonviso, Cindy (Steve) Murawski; and fond aunt of Brittany and Brooke Murawski.
