Carol McPartland, nee Pinkoski, a genuinely beautiful soul, age 84, of Hickory Hills; Beloved wife of the late Sean McPartland; Loving mother of Mary (David) O'Brien, Shawn (Denise) McPartland, Michael (Dawn) McPartland, Patrick (Tanya) McPartland, and Frances (John) Sutherland; Dearest mother-in-law of the late Sean Nolan; Dearly involved grandmother of Kaitlyn (Jose) Salgado, Kerry (Fred) Cozzo, Sean Nolan, Morgan (Tom) Folliard, Madeleine (Rob) Gialessas, Shawn, Jr. (Karina Liptak) McPartland, Brendan McPartland, Shane (Megan Denning) McPartland, John McPartland, Austin McPartland, Brittany Sutherland, Taylor (Jake) Boyle, Alyssa (Riley Lambert) Sutherland, and Carly (Evan Cummings) Sutherland; Loving involved great grandmother of Aubree, Evan, Xander, Addeline, Nathan, Olivia, Camden, Emma, Dylan, Maya, baby Boyle on the way; Dear sister of the late Joyce (the late Al) Brown, the late Stan Pinkoski, and the late John Pinkoski; Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews especially her home away from home in Superior, Wisconsin; Loved enjoying the cabin on Crystal Lake in Superior, Wisconsin with all her loved ones. Life long friend of Carole Fischer, Vicki Kapp, Charlotte Maruna, Noreen Lally, Esther and Joe Bocanegra, Marge Sutherland, Mattie Dziallo, Rita Cole, Sheila Hanson, Annie O'Neill, Char Warner, Marlene, Mary Reynolds, Mary Uijka, Claudia, Nancy, Jeanne Neubauer, Mary from Rico's, a true second mother to many of her children's friends, and the Denny's Crew;
Countless hours of volunteer service including, PLOWS, Hickory Hills Nursing Home, Meals on Wheels, St. Patricia, and many others.
Active Member of St. Patricia Church for 56 years.
Avid bowler, swimmer, reader, world traveler, cross country skier; hiked to bottom of Grand Canyon, card player, Pinochle Club Members, loved of all animals, sledding at Kasey Meadows Park with her grandchildren and great grandchildren;
A true do it your selfer, changed her own oil and tires on all of her cars and especially her white convertible with the license plate CADMAC 1;
A true lifelong caregiver to all animals and people.
A special thanks to the ALC hospice team who did an incredible job caring for mom in every possible way.
The dementia never took your kindness or positivity. Mom, enjoy your peace and your freedom.
