Countless hours of volunteer service including, PLOWS, Hickory Hills Nursing Home, Meals on Wheels, St. Patricia, and many others.
Active Member of St. Patricia Church for 56 years.
Avid bowler, swimmer, reader, world traveler, cross country skier; hiked to bottom of Grand Canyon, card player, Pinochle Club Members, loved of all animals, sledding at Kasey Meadows Park with her grandchildren and great grandchildren;
A true do it your selfer, changed her own oil and tires on all of her cars and especially her white convertible with the license plate CADMAC 1;
A true lifelong caregiver to all animals and people.
A special thanks to the ALC hospice team who did an incredible job caring for mom in every possible way.
The dementia never took your kindness or positivity. Mom, enjoy your peace and your freedom.
Visitation Wednesday, August 13, 2025, 4 P.M. to 9 P.M. at Lack and Sons Funeral Home, 9236 South Roberts Road, Hickory Hills and Thursday, August 14, 2025, 10 A.M. to time of Funeral Mass 11 A.M. at St. Patricia Church, 9050 South 86th Avenue, Hickory Hills; Interment Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park; Information 708-430-5700.

I remember going over there on the weekends or summer when Brit, Tay and the kids came over. We´d play all through the house and swim in the pool. Carol was always welcoming with open arms. She loved when I´d stop by with my girls. Always having a smile on her face and love in her words. She was like a grandmother to me. Sean was like a grandfather always giving words of wisdom. I´m so sad and she will be missed dearly. But I have some relief in my sorrow that they are united at last. And I will hold all of those memories in my heart.
