She is survived by her devoted husband, Marvin Meadors, with whom she shared 69 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful family that includes their three daughters: Vickie (Greg) Norton, Dena (John) Bradley, and Melissa (Craig) Simmons. Carol was a proud grandmother to Carolyn (Ray) Parraguirre, Nic Cusick (Rhys O'Brien), Morgan Bradley, Erikka Simmons, Jordan Simmons, and Hunter Simmons (Mallory Trefzger), and she cherished her role as a great-grandmother to Layla Mollman, Weston, Dean, and Monica Parraguirre, and Savanna Frey.

She had a deep passion for life, evident in her love for traveling, having explored every state in the U.S. except Hawaii. Florida held a special place in her heart, where she enjoyed spending time fishing and enjoying the sunshine and warm weather. Carol found great joy in family gatherings, often filled with card games and moments of hearty laughter. Her faith also played a significant role in her life; she was a cherished member of Afton Wesleyan Church, Harvest House Wesleyan Church, and Journey Fellowship Church, where she engaged in Bible study and shared her spiritual journey with those around her.
