It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Allan Knouff, who left us peacefully on November 5, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on December 27, 1954, in Troy, Ohio, Tom was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. He resided in Fayetteville, Ohio, where he filled his life with warmth, kindness, and a genuine love for his family and friends.

Tom was an avid sports fan, with a passion for the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds. His enthusiasm for the game was infectious, and he could often be heard cheering for his favorite teams, sharing thrilling moments and fond memories with family and friends. His larger-than-life personality and ability to connect with people made him a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew him.

He enjoyed a fulfilling career, proudly serving as the superintendent of the Eagles Nest Golf Course, where he nurtured both the greens and the camaraderie amongst fellow golf enthusiasts. Later, he brought his dedication and work ethic to McCabe Hardware, where he was an assistant manager in Madeira, helping customers with years of knowledge and good humor.

In addition to his love for sports, Tom always kept up with local politics. He loved to read the local, county newspapers and to collaborate with anyone on the crossword puzzles. An animal lover at heart, Tom had a special way of connecting with any cat and dog he came across, and had four cats at home.

Tom is survived by his devoted wife, Cindy Knouff; his beloved children, Megan (Rebecca Lawrence) Knouff and Tracey Knouff; his sister, Shari Potter; and cherished cousins, John Knouff and John (Susan) Fulton; and many nieces and nephews. His family and friends will miss him dearly but will forever carry his spirit in their hearts. Thomas was preceded in death by: his sister Kathy Remini, and parents Harold and Geraldine Knouff.

In this time of reflection, let us remember Tom not just for his love of sports or animals, but for the remarkable man he was-a true friend, a loving family man, and an inspiration to all. His legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
