John H. Evans Funeral Home - MilfordIt is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Roslyn Miller, a beloved mother, friend, and creative spirit, who left this world peacefully on November 4, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on August 13, 1936 to the late Richard and Marie Simons. Roslyn lived a life rich with love, creativity, and cherished memories, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.
Roslyn was a devoted wife to the late Richard Miller and mother to Jeff ((Robin) Miller, Lesa (David) Leach and Brian Miller, grandmother to Jeffrey Miller, Staci (Zach) Stierhoff, Jacob (Jenny) Miller, Jonathon Leach and Nicholas (McKenzie) Leach, great-grandmother to Serenity Miller, Connor Miller, Camryn Stierhoff and one great-granddaughter Miller on the way, sister to Tommy (late Janet) Simons, Bill (Linda) Simons and Pauline (Mark) Miller, who will carry her memory forward. With a passion for dancing, she and her husband enjoyed many joyful moments together, taking ballroom dancing lessons that brought laughter and grace into their lives. Her love for crafting and decorating reflected her vibrant personality, making her home a warm and inviting haven for family and friends alike. Though Roslyn embraced the joy of creating and celebrating with others, she also savored her quiet moments, finding peace in solitude.
As we remember Roslyn, we invite family and friends to join us in honoring her life. A graveside service will take place at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery on November 11, 2025, at 10:30 am. Prior to that, a visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Milford on November 10, 2025, starting at 6:00 pm. We welcome all who knew and loved her to gather, share stories, and celebrate a life beautifully lived.
Roslyn will be laid to rest in the serene surroundings of Gate of Heaven Cemetery, located at 1000 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH, a place where her spirit may find peace. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she touched.
