Carol Adams Medrano was born August 20th, 1947, in Pontiac Michigan. She stepped into motherhood in the year of 1967 with the birth of her son Blake Landry and then to her daughter Traci Landry in 1969. They moved to Texas in 1980. Not long after, she met the love of her life, Claro (Clear) Medrano, in 1991. This year would have marked their 20th wedding anniversary and 33 years in love. The next phase of her life would arguably be her favorite phase of life. This is when she became a grandmother to Kristin Twitty, Dalton and Colton Landry and Bryce and Braden Holman. These years of her life revolved strictly around her grand kids, which she poured absolutely everything into. That was until she got promoted to great grandma, or as many knew her, Gigi. Daniel, Aubrey, and Levi came into the picture and Gigi seized the opportunity to spoil them rotten as she loved to do. She was the most loving, kind, and outgoing person to be around but don't let the pink hair and beautiful smile fool you, she was every bit as fierce as she was sweet. She found solace with her group of friends known as the Golden Girls, whom she loved very dearly and cherished their friendships. She was loved by all who knew her for the wonderful woman she was and will be missed tremendously.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Louise Adams, her siblings David Adams and Jeanne Elam, son Blake Landry and grandson Colton Landry. She is survived by husband Clear Medrano, siblings Sheila Robinson, Lori Gross, and Jack Adams, daughter Traci Landry, granddaughter Kristin Twitty, grandson Dalton Landry and fiancé Madison, grandsons Bryce Holman, Braden Holman and fiancé Sterling, great grandchildren Daniel, Aubrey, and Levi.
Carol gained her wings and went to be with the Lord on January 9th, 2024. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday January 27th at 10am at Spring Creek Community Church. 2660 Beltline Road Garland, Texas 75044.
