Carol Lou Mullerleile, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 15, 2025, in
Spokane, Washington, at the age of 68.
Born on March 16, 1957, in Spokane to Sam and Margaret Pagliaro, Carol grew up in a warm and loving family. She graduated from Central Valley High School in the Class of 1975. On December 4, 1976, she married the love of her life, Bernard A. Mullerleile, in Spokane Valley. Together they built a joyful life centered around family, faith, and community.
Carol dedicated many years to education and service, working at Longfellow Elementary from 1985 to 1995 and later at Fasteners from 2004 to 2017. Her coworkers and students alike remember her kindness, patience, and genuine care for others.
Above all, Carol loved being surrounded by her family. She was happiest while baking, cooking, crafting, sewing, and quilting-creating not just handmade treasures but cherished memories. Her door was always open, and her heart even more so. Carol had a gift for making everyone feel like family; she was, in every sense, a mother and grandmother to all.
Carol is survived by her devoted husband, Bernard; her children Samuel B. Mullerleile, Angela M. Mullerleile, and Anna M. Fletcher; her siblings Louis D. Pagliaro and Sandra S. Pagliaro; and her grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Margaret Pagliaro, and her son, Christopher B. Mullerleile.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, an amazing sister, a caring mother, and a genuine, fun-loving woman whose warmth and generosity touched everyone she met.
A viewing will be at Hennessey Funeral Home on November 20, 2025, from 12:00 PM.to 4:30PM A service honoring Carol's life will be held on November 21, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery – Mausoleum, 7200 N Wall St.,
Spokane, WA 99208.
Carol will be profoundly missed, but her love, strength, and vibrant spirit will live on in the many lives she has touched. Always in our Hearts.
