Obituary
Carol Stahler Nelson, of Willow Grove, passed away on July 2nd, 2021. She was 79 years old.
She was the mother of Kathryn Marie Nelson. In addition to her daughter Kathy, and her life
partner Charlie Gracia, she is survived by her three grandchildren. Brittney Colarullo and
husband, Andrew Colarullo, both of Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, Gavin Burgos, Greyson Gracia
of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, and great-grandmother to soon-to-be Grace Carol Colarullo.
She is additionally survived by her sister-in-law, Margaret Stahler, nieces, nephews, and great
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur Stahler and Margaret (Griffiths) Stahler, her
brother William, her Aunt Anna, and great niece, Liz Coffey.
Ms. Nelson retired from nursing in April of 2006, after years of service as a manager in the
nursing department of Abington Memorial Hospital. After retirement, she devoted her time to
family and friends. Nothing gave her greater joy than spending time playing, laughing, and
loving her three grandkids; they were her world.
Her Family would like to thank Abington Hospice in Warminster for making her last day filled
with family, love and laughter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the
Abington Hospice in Warminster, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation and funeral service that will be held at John J.
Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Rd, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Visitation is 10AM-11AM and 
Funeral Services will begin at 11AM.
