Mrs. Carol A. (LaPorte) O'Toole, 86, of Milford MA died unexpectedly Tuesday (September 2, 2025) at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis M. "Frank" O'Toole who died in 2016 and the beloved mother of Michael O'Toole, Steven O'Toole, Daniel O'Toole, Thomas O'Toole and the late Patricia "Tricia" O'Toole.

Carol was born in Waltham MA, the daughter of the late Ernest A. LaPorte and the late Mary (Connahan) LaPorte. She was a graduate of the Archbishop Cushing Central Catholic High School.

Carol had been a resident of Milford MA for most of her life and had been employed as a young woman at the former Milford Savings Bank. Later in life she joined her beloved late husband in owning & running O'Toole's Restaurant for many years, a popular restaurant in the Milford area.

As a younger woman Carol had been an active member of the former Ridgewood Womens Club. But her favorite past time was spending time with her children & grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her 4 sons: Michael O'Toole and his wife Anne Marie of Grafton MA, Steven O'Toole and his wife Cindy of Milford MA, Daniel O'Toole of Milford MA and Thomas O'Toole and his companion Cheryl Soucy of Upton MA; her 9 grandchildren: Sean O'Toole, Casey O'Toole, Sam O'Toole, Abby O'Toole, Ryan O'Toole, Emily O'Toole, Benjamin O'Toole, Liam O'Toole & Riley O'Toole; her 3 siblings: Elaine Simmons of Stoughton MA, Donald LaPorte of Quincy MA and Arthur LaPorte of Quincy MA; also several nieces & nephews.

Carol was the mother of the late Patricia E. "Tricia" O'Toole who died in 2008; and the sister of the late Ernest LaPorte & the late John LaPorte.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will take place. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA on a DAY & TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED. There are no funeral home visiting hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels, c/o Milford Senior Center, 60 North Bow Street, Milford MA 01757, a service that Carol enjoyed during the final years of her life.
