Carol Paulanthony of Weymouth, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 12, 1942, Carol was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
While Carol was successful in her professional career, her greatest role was the selfless act of retiring to help raise her five grandchildren — Ryan, Andrew, Julia, Kristina, and Rachel. The love and memories they shared built a strong family bond that will last for generations, a cherished part of Carol’s enduring legacy.
Carol was known for her exceptional cooking and baking, her love of bingo, and her remarkable ability to make everyone feel loved and valued. She cherished shopping trips with her daughters, visits from her grandkids, and Sunday dinners with the whole family. A bad day could always be turned around by talking with her. She will be remembered for her wisdom, kindness, quick wit, and the joy she brought to everyone she met.
She is survived by her daughters, Julie Narciso and her husband Paul Narciso, and Carol Schneider and her husband Stephen Schneider, her brother Joseph Purpura and his husband George Tuttle, her five grandchildren, and her two great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by the love of her life and beloved husband, Vincent Paulanthony, and by her parents, Joseph and Anna Purpura.
To know Carol was to know what it felt like to love and be loved unconditionally. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday 11/19/2025 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So.
