Of Waupaca, age 73, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025. She was born in Green Bay on December 25, 1951 to the late Gerald and Edna (Schneider) Ullmer. Carol moved to the Waupaca area in 1981. She was a registered dietician working at Theda Clark Medical Center, Riverside Medical Center and Theda Care Health System. She was a mentor in the UW Green Bay Internship Program. Carol was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Waupaca Curling Club since 1982, president of the club twice. Carol enjoyed outdoor activities, visiting national parks, reading and playing bridge. She will be remembered for her positive spirit and the way her infectious smile could light up any room. Always up for an adventure, she brought joy and energy wherever she went. Her caring nature and thoughtfulness for others touched countless lives. Above all, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother who cherished her family deeply.

She will be dearly missed by her husband: Jon; daughters: Claudette (David) Prybilla; Callie (Erik) Maursetter; Jill (Hans Jungck) Peotter; brothers: Russell (Sue) Ullmer, Rodney (Sue) Ullmer, Donald Ullmer, sisters: Barbara Klaas, Mary Gering, Connie (Richard) Kellogg III; grandchildren: Blake, Jack and Ava Prybilla, Britta and Bryce Maursetter, and Cameron Jungck; other relatives and friends.

The Memorial Mass will be on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at 2pm at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, N2845 Shadow Rd, Waupaca.
