Georgina “Gina” E. Peotter, age 91, was called to her heavenly home on July 25, 2025. Gina was born and raised in Menasha, WI to the late Arley and Kate Moran on January 3, 1934. She married Ronald Peotter on June 16, 1951. They shared 43 years together before his passing on August 22, 1994.
Gina was a people-person and loved getting a surprised “wow” reaction from everyone. Her spicy, flamboyant personality shone through in everything she did. She loved dressing up for all occasions, especially Halloween & St Patrick’s Day (her two favorite celebration days!). She never could explain why, but she loved owls in any form unless they were the real ones. You knew she was busy in her kitchen baking when you could smell the aroma of freshly baked bread or cookies long before entering her home. Gina enjoyed sewing, knitting, playing cards, volleyball, bowling and volunteering. She was employed with Quality Printing in Neenah for approximately 25 years.
Gina is survived by one son: Rick (Laurie) Peotter, Neenah; seven daughters: Bev (Bob) Popp, Greenville, Carla (Chris) Pye, Appleton, Donna Tuttle, Fox Crossing, Jane Johnson, Menasha, Sandi (Craig) Mueller, Neenah, Vicki (Mike Meyerhofer) Eskew, Town of Harrison, Linda (Mark) Coenen, Fox Crossing; son-in-law Mike (Deb) Jacob, Oshkosh; and sister-in-law Phyllis Moran, Menasha. In addition, she will be lovingly missed by 20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 3 great greatgrandchildren with another on the way; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Gina was preceded in death by her daughter Sue Jacob; two sisters and four brothers: Eunice Brzycki, Arline Wolff, Harlan “Buggs”, James “Dutch”, Richard and Clifford Moran.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday August 6, 2025, at 11:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 Broad Street, Menasha. Friends and family may gather at the church for visitation from 9:00am until 10:45am. Gina will join her husband Ron at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Gina's name.
