Rosemary “Rosie” J Peotter, age 87 of Appleton, WI went to her heavenly eternal home on May 29, 2025. She was born to the late Conrad and Alice (Ruland) Deimer in 1937. After graduating from Appleton High School, she worked for a few years at Miller Electric. Rosemary met the love of her life, Duane Peotter, and they were married in September of 1958. Together, they were married for sixty six years and raised 4 wonderful daughters.

Rosemary was a wife, a mother and a grandmother, always putting her family first. She loved all animals, but really enjoyed dogs, especially her German Shepherds and Shih Tzus. Additionally, Rosemary had a deep appreciation for nature, and found joy in going to her and Duane’s cottage up North to relax whenever they could. Rosemary also enjoyed going to country music festivals with Duane. You could often find Rosemary in her back yard, feeding the birds, squirrels, and chipmunks and enjoying being outside whenever the weather was nice. She loved the Packers and always cheered them on when they were playing. Rosemary had a deep faith in her Lord and Savior and truly believed in the goodness of God’s love and eternal bliss. More than anything, though, Rosie loved her family and cherished every moment she could with them. She was so proud of everyone she helped to raise.

Rosemary will be deeply missed by her husband, Duane Peotter; her daughters, Lynn, Kathleen, Sharon, and Patricia Peotter; her grandson, Alexander Waterworth; as well as many other extended relatives, dear friends and her beloved dog Abby.

A funeral visitation will be held for Rosemary from 9-11 AM on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St, Appleton, WI 54911 with a funeral service to follow at 11 AM.
