Carol Ann (Werner) Pingel, a beacon of unwavering love and selfless devotion, went to be with Jesus peacefully on May 10, 2025, in Peoria, Arizona. Born on December 14, 1942, in Seymour, Wisconsin, to the late Frederick and Lucille Brocker Werner, Carol's life was a testament to the power of faith, family, and service to others.

Carol's journey alongside her beloved husband, the late Randolph "Randy" Pingel, was one of true partnership and unwavering support. Married for 50 cherished years, Carol embodied the role of a loving wife, particularly during Randy's battles with rheumatoid arthritis and later, cancer. Her dedication to her family was the bedrock upon which their lives were built.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Ricky Pingel (Terry), Sherry Oswald (Pat), and Pam Smolinski (Dan); her adored 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the legacy of her love, faith, and the wisdom she so generously imparted; and her surviving sister, Judith (Werner) Davies. She was preceded in death by her brothers David and Darrell, and sisters Mildred (Kraning) and Shirley (Row).

Professionally, Carol's career was marked by her roles as a secretary at Williams Insulation in Phoenix and Life Support Systems in Glendale, Arizona. She excelled in her work, bringing the same level of care and attention to her professional responsibilities as she did to her home.

Carol's interests and involvements painted a picture of a woman who embraced life with joy and enthusiasm. A gifted cook known for her delectable baking, especially at Christmas, she also shared her love of music as a member of her church choir. Her affinity for the outdoors was evident in her love of traveling, camping, and fishing. Carol's heart for service was unmistakable, as she dedicated countless hours to pampering residents in nursing homes and participating in the Red Hat Society. Above all, her commitment to her faith was unwavering; her relationship with Jesus was the cornerstone of her existence.

Those who knew Carol were touched by her beautiful smile, loving nature, her faith-filled spirit, and her selfless approach to life. She had a remarkable ability to make each person feel seen, heard, and valued. Carol's presence was a source of comfort and strength to her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11 A.M. on May 31, 2025, with a reception to follow at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, Arizona 85351. Here, friends and family will gather to honor Carol's memory, share stories of her impact, and celebrate the love she so freely gave to everyone around her.

Carol's life was a beautiful illustration of what it means to live selflessly and love wholeheartedly. Her legacy of kindness, compassion, and faith will continue to inspire and guide us. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary woman, we do so with grateful hearts for the time we were blessed to have her among us. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the lives she touched. We love you Mom and will see you again soon.
