Carol Ridlen Obituary
Carol was born in Murray, Kentucky on September 1, 1976 to William Henson and Bethel McLeod Henson. She was a homemaker and a member of Creswell Baptist Church. Carol enjoyed any activity that allowed her to express her creativity. She loved sewing, making homemade soaps, gardening, and trying new recipes. She was also passionate about nature and the outdoors, spending time fishing with her mother and sharing her love for all of God's creatures.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Ridlen; one son, Austin Dean Ridlen and wife, Savannah, stationed with the US Army in Germany; one daughter, Kailynn Marie Ridlen (Xavier Rosa) of Creswell, KY; her parents, William Henson and Bethel McLeod Henson of Benton, KY; one brother, Charles Edward Henson of Creswell, KY; and three grandchildren, Dawson Ridlen, Charlotte Ridlen and Emmett Ridlen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made to assist with funeral expenses. Those wishing to donate may call Collier Funeral Home at (270) 527- 3141.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home with Bro. Chad Oliver officiating. Burial will follow at Birmingham Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
