Carol Roberts Obituary
She was born January 19, 1971 in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Oscar Rosolee "Lee" and Essie Littleton Brotherton. She and Stuart Jason Roberts were married May 29, 2004 in Cape Girardeau.
Carol was a 1989 graduate of Jackson High School and a graduate of Metro Business College in the 1990's. She worked for Ford Groves for over 30 years, culminating as the office manager. Carol loved to be with her family. Her greatest joy came from praying for people and worshiping the Lord. She was a loyal servant of God, family and friends.
Loving survivors include her husband, Stuart Jason Roberts; two daughters Brittney (David) Peters of Jackson and Cassie (Floyd) Varela of Scott City, Missouri, a son Wesley Roberts of San Diego, California; a granddaughter Avonlea Peters; three sisters Dianna (Tom) Hale, Vicki (Ted) Holzum and Kim (Ken) Brown; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Monday, May 15, 2023 at The Apostolic Promise Church in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., May 15, 2023, at the church with Pastor Timothy Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
