Carol Ruth Obituary
Born in York, Pa on October 27, 1947, she was the daughter of Clifford O. Sowers and Alice M. Sowers (Godfrey).
Carol was a devoted mother of sons Michael T. Ruth and Barry L. Minck Jr. She was preceded in death by her father Clifford O. Sowers, mother Alice M. Sowers, brother Clifford C Sowers. In addition to her sons, Carol is survived by her brother Carl C. Sowers, grandson Dillon M. Minck, and three other grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Carol worked at several places including Turkey Hill and DynCorp, and retired from Wal-Mart.
Services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026 at John W. Keffer Funeral Home, 902 Mt. Rose Avenue, York, PA. Viewing will be from 9-10am with the funeral service to begin at 10am officiated by Pastor Glenn Detter. Burial will follow in Mount Rose Cemetery.

You were truly the greatest Aunt a girl could've ask for, thank you for all your support and standing by me no matter what was thrown my way. I miss our talks on the phone for hours, and how you would tell me about the old days and our family history. We miss you already, continue watching over all of us, especially Mikey and Bet.
