It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cousin Carol A. Lumia Sarubbi, who left us on February 11th at the age of 79. She passed quietly at the Treasure Coast Hospice Residence in Fort Pierce, FL, after a courageous battle with dementia and her husband Bob at her bedside. She was a woman of incredible humor. patience and love of family. Her passion for style and shopping will forever be remembered. Carol was born August 28, 1945, in North Tarrytown (Sleepy Hollow), NY, to Carmen and Helen Cicalo.She later moved to Mahopac, Cortlandt Manor, and eventually retired with her husband. Bob, in Stuart, Florida. Carol loved to spend endless hours shopping online or in town, finding treasures for herself or others. She cherished traveling, going to the beach, and dining out with her husband Bob. She was a long-time parishioner of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Stuart, Florida. Carol is survived by her beloved husband, Bob Sarubbi, loving son Christopher Lumia (Rosa Lumia Squicciarini), stepdaughters Lorena Riely of Fairfax, VA, and Andrea Kirby of Brooklyn ,NY, cherished grandchildren Christina, Anthony, and Joseph, and cousins John, Bob, and Christine Rossi of NC and many other close friends. Carol was predeceased by her brother. Richard Cicalo of Washington, IA and sister, Jayne Anderson of Chicago, IL.

Services: TBD at St. Andrews Catholic church, Inurnment will be on later at date at the Gates of Heaven cemetery in Hawthorne, N.Y.
