Carol L. Schade, 94, of West Chester passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Accent Care Hospice at Wilmington Hospital. Born in Bangor Pennsylvania, she was a graduate of Bangor High School and went on to obtain her LPN degree from Chester Upland.
Carol briefly served in the nursing field but her primary vocation was caring for her beloved family. She was a dedicated mother and faithful wife who often put her needs aside for those she loved most. She was spunky and straight forward in her approach to life and was a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church of West Chester.
She is preceded in death by her parents: George Clapp and Erna (Counterman) Clapp and two siblings: Warren Clapp and Arnold Clapp.
Survivors: Her beloved husband of 71 years: Stanley W. Schade, three children: Brett Schade, Eric Schade, and Cheryl Zoranski, two grandchildren: Erin Bernd (Peter) and Jason Zoranski (Zarah), two great-grandchildren: Henry and Bella, and one sister: Lois Kromer.
Visitation: Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, Pennsylvania 19014.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, Pennsylvania 19014.
Interment: Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, Pennsylvania.
