Carol Sharp Obituary
Carol grew up in Pueblo and Olney Springs, Colorado. She attended and graduated from Crowley County High School in 1968, where she met the love of her life Jerry Sharp. Carol and Jerry married on February 25, 1971, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Cañon City, Colorado. Carol had three boys and a full life owning and operating a Holstein dairy cow farm in Penrose, Colorado. Carol will be remembered for her baking, sewing, teachings of bible study, and many more volunteer activities in the community.
Carol is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jerry Sharp of Penrose, Colorado: three sons; Rhett Sharp, Galen (Nicole) Sharp and Jared Sharp, all of Penrose: Sister; Crystil (Martin) Cheeseman: Brother; Dale (Lillis) States: 9 grandkids and 10 great grandkids.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents; Paul and Ester States, as well as many siblings over the years.
Services were held Saturday, October 14, 2023.
