Our Beautiful Wife and Mother, Carol Ann(nee Payne) Shawhan, age 59 of Bedford Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 after a short illness. She was born in Akron, Ohio to the late Robert Vincent and Shirley Ann (nee Thomas) Payne. She is also preceded in death by a son Cole Shawhan and siblings Jeanne, Thomas, Stephen and James Payne, and Her ever present shadow, Her dog Bonz. Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years Thomas D. Shawhan, two loving sons, Jon Ferrell and Stu Shawhan; three cherished grandchildren, Emma Paige Shawhan, Daniel Anthony Myers, and Cameron Joseph Ferrell as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family will be having memorial services privately. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations be made in her memory to Cleveland Clinic Hospice, 6801 Brecksville Road #10, Independence, Ohio 44131 (give.ccf.org) or to Lifebanc, 4775 Richmond Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44128 (www.lifebanc.org).
