Born in Colorado, June 24, 1945 to Margaret and Harold Zimmerman, Carol moved with her family as a youth to Hayward, California where she grew up with her elder sister, Gail, younger sister Gretchen, and younger brother Kim Zimmerman and graduated from Hayward High School (class of '63).
Carol then began a 35-year Career with AT&T telephone company as an operator before retiring to Grants Pass, Oregon with her husband James Sheahan where she spent her remaining years caring for her beloved dogs and horses.
Carol is survived by her daughter Tracy Whitehurst and two granddaughters, Tatyana Oellrich and Briyana Oellrich-Morris.
