Mueller-Bies Funeral Home - Roseville ChapelCarol Ann Shook, 86, of Roseville, died at Lyngblomsten Memory Care on August 23, 2025.
She was born on January 26, 1939, to George Campbell and Sara Davidson Campbell in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania and graduated from Mahanoy Township High School.
She married Russell Shook in 1960 and they had three children.
Carol worked for Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio during Russell’s studies at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Seminary; she was a legal secretary in Illinois and Indiana for many years after that. She enjoyed reading, walking, music, leading a children’s choir in Illinois and singing in the adult choirs of the churches in which her husband served as pastor.
Carol is survived by her husband, her son and daughters, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service 11:00 AM Friday September 12, 2025 at Como Park Lutheran Church, 1376 W. Hoyt Ave., St. Paul, with the Rev. Martin Ericson officiating; visitation there is from 10:00-11:00 AM.
Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Lyngblomsten Foundation or Como Park Lutheran Church.
