P. Dennis Shook

KENDALLVILLE, INDIANA – P. Dennis Shook, 79, of Kendallville, Indiana, passed away at 10:40 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025, at his residence. He was born July 8, 1946, in Van Wert, Ohio to the late Theodore and Vesta (High) Shook. On May 9, 1968, he married Marie Nienberg, who survives in Kendallville, Indiana.

Other survivors include a brother, Dave Shook of Convoy, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Ann Fortman of Charlotte, North Carolina; two brothers-in-law: Louis (Linda) Nienberg of Ottawa, Ohio and Ben (Rachel) Nienberg of Glandorf, Ohio; six nieces and nephews: Wendy (Brian) Smith of Macomb, Michigan, Gina (Gui) Kalili of Alpharetta, Georgia, Robyn (Eduardo) Barrientos of Cumming, Georgia, Sherri Wilson of Findlay, Ohio, Mandy Recker of Charlotte, North Carolina and Andy Fortman of West Palm Beach, Florida; and P. Dennis and Marie's beloved dog, Mikey.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a nephew, Dave Nienberg of Tomball, Texas.

P. Dennis retired from TFC Canopy, where he worked as an estimator. He was a member of Ft. Wayne Rifle and Pistol Club and patron member of the National Rifle Association.

Arrangements are incomplete and under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Parkview Homecare and Hospice.
